Beyond retreats, we offer many group dog training classes. They’re the most cost-effective way to get time with our expert team. We keep class sizes small, so you’ll still get lots of attention from our trainers. All classes are held at our Wilde Acres campus unless otherwise noted.
All classes require advanced registration. To sign up, email our office (office@wildeacresmd.com) or give us a call (410-833-2300).
Sundays, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
3 classes for $120 or $50 each
When you attend a group puppy class, you’ll get to train in a small group environment with our founder, Carter Wilde. Attend as many (or as few) classes as you’d like. Class size is limited to 5 dogs, so sign up to snag a spot on your preferred date before it fills up.
*No class on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
Join instructor Molly O’Hanlon as she takes you and your dog on the journey of titling as an AKC Trick Dog! Enrolling in these classes will enhance the relationship and communication with you and your dog, build confidence, as well as provide valuable mental and physical exercise.

This class focuses on off-leash recall. If you’d like your dog to consistently return to you when you call them, this is the class for you! Whether your dog chases seagulls at the beach, runs too far ahead on hiking trails, or doesn’t listen in an urban setting, the Group E-Collar Class will teach you all you need to know for flawless recall. To ensure all participants are starting from the same place, only past clients who have attended a training retreat, private lessons, or obedience group lessons are eligible to participate.
*A remote collar is not included in the class price.

We offer free handler classes for graduates of most Wilde Acres training programs. These classes are designed to help you handle your dog the way the Wilde Acres staff did when they were in our care, resulting in a better-behaved pup long-term. Each month, we offer multiple handler classes at the Wilde Acres campus and one off-site class that changes locales each time. We limit the number of attendees, so be sure to reserve your spot for the date that works best for you.
*No class on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

Carter will guide you through not only the new skills your dog learned while in our care, but how to use these skills to navigate your dog’s reactivity. We limit the number of attendees, so be sure to reserve your spot for the date that works best for you.
*No class on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
3rd Sunday of the Month, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

With a new location each month, join us to take your handler skills to the next level and show off your dog’s skills during this 90 minute class. Class locations are planned a few months in advance, so check the calendar and plan to join us!
*Graduates must attend at least one Sunday Handler Class at Wilde Acres before attending this class.
My family had a wonderful experience with Wilde Acres and would highly recommend this training facility to our friends and family.

The people working here are fantastic - kind, cordial, very friendly and obviously know what they’re doing. Two weeks into the program, my puppy loves the place and the people, and she is making visible progress in training!

“From the exceptional staff to the top-notch facilities, the results have exceeded our expectations. Not only has Penny benefited from the training, but she also receives grooming services there, which we can confidently say is the best she's ever had! Thank you to the WA team!”
