Choose from three different options that include four, six, or eight weeks of total training, split across two training retreats. Your dog begins with an initial two, three, or four-week retreat beginning at four months old, and then returns for a follow-up two, three, or four-week session when your dog is 7-9 months old. Schedule and prepay for both retreats upfront so you have your entire training plan in place.

Think of the first retreat as your puppy’s basic training foundation, and the second retreat as a chance to drill down on skills learned in the first, introduce off-leash training, and ultimately build maximum trust.

The daily schedule of any training retreat includes 1-on-1 obedience lessons and walks in the woods to practice good dog behavior. If dogs are dog-friendly, they will have employee supervised play-time with other dogs. If dogs are dog-aggressive, they will have supervised yard time on their own.

The longer dogs train at Wilde Acres, the better their responses become, providing owners greater control of their dogs’ behavior.
